We often hear that Swiss and Germans are similar. But there are also subtle differences, about which we can reflect and laugh. It is well known that the self-image differs from that of foreigners. This is the favourite source for many caricatures. The Cultural Affairs Department of the Waldshut Administrative District has organised a competition for cartoons in 2019. The response was overwhelming with the participation of more than 40 renowned cartoonists.

The exhibition in the Hebel Hall shows some of the submitted works and the winners.
